When to Come for Your Medical Examination
Start with our date guide. Enter your U.S. Embassy interview date and choose a medical appointment from the dates it recommends. If you do not have an interview date, enter the date when you need your medical report.
Leave enough time
Book at least two working days before your interview for a routine examination. Follow the date guide if it recommends coming earlier. Additional tests or consultations can delay your report; TB sputum cultures can take at least eight weeks. We cannot guarantee that every report will be ready for a particular interview date.
How far ahead can I book?
Appointments are available up to 30 days in advance. We generally do not recommend having your examination more than one month before your interview. Medical clearance is usually valid for up to six months, but is shorter in some cases. Your report will show its expiry date.
Clinic days and appointment confirmation
We are normally open Monday–Friday, 09:00–19:00, and Saturday, 09:00–13:00. We are closed on Sundays and may close on public holidays. The booking system shows available dates.
We send a confirmation email within four working days of your request. Check your spam folder. If it has not arrived after four working days, email us with your appointment details. Please do not make a second booking.
To change or cancel your appointment, use Check Appointment Status. You will need your appointment number and passport number.
